WhatsApp landing-page copy that gives visitors a reason to ask

Write clear WhatsApp calls to action with a specific purpose, realistic response expectations and enough context for a useful sales enquiry.

“Chat with us” tells a visitor what button to press but gives little reason to press it. Good WhatsApp copy explains what the business can help decide, what information is useful and what will happen after the visitor sends a message.

This guide is published by the team behind Flas CRM. We sell one of the products in this category, so treat it as a vendor's checklist — the criteria are written to be useful whichever tool you end up choosing.

Connect the invitation to the page

A service page should invite a service question. A product comparison should invite help choosing between options. A quotation page should make clear what the team needs to prepare an estimate. The visitor should not have to infer whether the inbox handles sales, support or something else.

For example, a signage supplier might write: “Ask about a sign for your shop. Send the approximate size and installation location.” This is an illustrative message, not a claim about a measured conversion improvement. It works as a starting point because it gives the customer a concrete first step.

Replace vague promises with useful expectations

Vague copyMore useful direction
“Get the best deal”Explain which requirement the team can quote
“Instant support”State staffed hours and the expected next step
“Talk to an expert”Name the type of question the team handles
“Submit details”Explain why the details are needed

Do not promise an immediate answer unless the operation can deliver one. A chatbot acknowledgement and a confirmed price are different outcomes. Copy should preserve that distinction.

Ask for the smallest useful starting information

Choose two or three details that change the answer. A maintenance enquiry may need the type of equipment and the location. A bulk order may need the item and quantity. Leave questions that do not affect the first decision for later.

If a capture form asks for a phone number or email, place the explanation near the field. Do not hide the practical contact expectation in a distant paragraph. The agent should be able to see what the visitor was responding to.

Make the destination match the promise

Flas's lead capture and shared inbox features can support the enquiry workflow. Test the actual page, submission and agent response together. A carefully written invitation still fails if the record lands in the wrong workspace or nobody checks it.

Give agents a short response guide based on the page. If the call to action invites a delivery question, the first reply should acknowledge that question rather than send an unrelated company brochure.

Review conversations before rewriting buttons

Read a sample of recent enquiries. Are visitors asking the intended questions? Do they know what information to send? Are they surprised by response times? These observations suggest more useful changes than swapping one enthusiastic adjective for another.

Use the link-versus-widget guide to choose the interaction and the qualification questions to continue it. The best copy is a clear invitation that the actual team can fulfil.
